Together Gunpo
The City of Gunpo began its sister and friendly relationship cities program in 1997 with Belleville , Ontario , Canada . Since then the City has signed sisterhood agreements with 2 more cities in the world and additionally signed a friendly relationship agreements with 2 cities for international cooperation.
The main purpose of the sister city program is to strengthen relations between Gunpo , Korea and other international cities in an effort to establish goal cooperation and to promote culture understanding.
